She has worked at the Institute of Economic Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences since 2002, first as an internal PhD student, than as a researcher and since 2010 as senior researcher. For almost ten years, she has served as head of the Department of Macroeconomics and Knowledge Economy.
She has worked for many years on European integration issues, primarily from the perspective of Slovakia as a member of the European Union and the euro area. Furthermore, she deals with the issues of Slovakia's external economic relations. She has participated in a number of national (APVV, VEGA, ...) as well as international projects (FP7, H2020, ...), in two VEGA projects she acted as project leader. For several terms, she was member of the Scientific Council of IER SAS, as well as member of the VEGA Commission for Economic and Legal Sciences.
