ID number: VEGA 2/0109/16Developments in the external environment have become a carrier of progress in economic theory and the reason for the reception of policy decisions in economic and social reforms. External changes occurring are fundamentally affecting the demand for institutional competitiveness of the Slovak economy in the 21st century, as a combination of parallel processes of integration (eg. Transatlantic trade and investment partnership) and long-term "mega" trends (eg. aging population, income polarization and debt, energy crisis), that creates a new complex structure of changing conditions on both sides of the aggregate demand and supply. The interdisciplinary approach allows us to better understand the causal relationship between institutional factors of competitiveness and issues of trade and finance law, for example in the field of foreign investment.
