The library funds consist of more than 30 thousand volumes, of which about 20 thousand scientific-professional volumes on different economic disciplines and about 10 thousand research reports, studies, expertises, statistical and other specialized units. Furthermore the library preserves more than 170 titles of scientific-professional journals of inland and foreign origin.
The fund of reference library contains more than 1100 volumes, directly accessible for presentation study and they are as follows:
- encyclopaedia, general reference works of art, linguistic and professional dictionaries and textbooks
- scientific and professional publications, proceedings, textbooks on economic, related and auxiliary sciences
- general statistics, year-books, database publications about SR, Czech Republic, about selected countries and international organizations
- scientific publications, research reports, studies and expertises originated by the scientists of the Institute for Economic Research of Slovak Academy of Sciences,
- Codes of Acts
as well as - more than 100 titles of scientific-professional journals, statistical periodicals and daily press of current and previous year.
Nominal catalogues serve as orientation through the library funds and are created separately for each type of documents.
