In the process of economic transformation and crisis conditions after 2008 was the population exposed to varying degrees of external influences that are in different regions of Slovakia through the interme-diary of the political decisions of the ruling elite morphed to population living conditions. The high degree of openness due to set the parameters of the economy, production base and ownership structure of enterprises is high depended on the external factors. There are several key tectonic gaps that direct-ly and indirectly affect the system and mechanisms of society: the nature of the adaptation process, impact of technology, redefining the relationship of the economy, geopolitics and civilization for-mation shifts in relation with the change of natural conditions, and civilizational shift. Among the external key factors in Slovak republic may include: historical context (the period before 1989, the transformation and restructuring of the economy after 1989), international institutions since 1990, the impact of foreign capital and global competition, indirect effects of media dominance of neoliberal ideology, critical changes in the environment, and using of non-renewable resources.
