The economic policy is relative often frequent theme in economic publications. From the theoretical point of view, there is discussion about economic policy and relevant definitions as targets, bearers and its instruments, etc… Concerning of the conception economic policy there are distinguished two its meanings: the theoretical and practical. By the first meaning is economic policy as autonomous science – theory of the economic policy. The second sense reflected economic policy as a practical activity, as access of government and others subjects of economic policy to the economics of their country. Presented working paper has a target in detail to characterize mainly of the relation of the economic theory to the economic policy as practical activity. As a starting point is a deeper analysis of the development of the economic thinking (economic theory) and its relation to the philosophy. The relationship of the economic theory and economic policy doesn’t regard as one-way causality, but as complicated complex of the relations, which correct understanding and application to bear the synergic effect.
