Publications - Monographs and Scientific Edited Books

Publication is next contribution spreading view on Paradigm changes in 21st century by his focus and management. Paradigm changes was first specifically targeted by monography “Quest for Configurations in Mosaic” and Scientific Proceedings “Infrastructure of society and controlled society” in 2012. In relation to mayor changes in global society that had economic and geopolitical reach was published monographs “Europe, Slovakia – Connections between the Global Economic and Peace Potential” and in 2014 “Global World – Cooperation or Confrontation?”

Ambition of this publication, with title “Adaptation processes – the future of Europe and Slovakia” is not only movement of knowledge in field of strategic direction of European Union and context of actual geopolitical happenings, but also to present a variety aspects in polarisation of the Slovak society – part of trends in income polarisation in Global World. Through different points of view are uncovering possibilities and abilities of adaptation on complex of disruptive events in society. There is still accenting low rate of scientific gripping relations and context between society, economics and nature, such as complaints against existing policies that in reaction on cumulating negative systemic disruptive events continues in using traditional tools and solving selective partial problems.

Adaptation processes as choices for the new trajectory of global economic and society have a number of aspects, in publication resonating in views on war as global problem, on different forms of integration (financial and energetic), on need of redefinition of state’s task and functions, on problems in adaptation because of increased consumption of natural resources and energies, on The concept of sustainable development and in connection on human rights, social services and education. Specific attention is dedicated to Slovakia especially in context of polarisation, long-term unemployment and problems in structure of Slovak economy.

Thanks go to my colleagues Lukas Murdzik and Maria Lackova, who do always exemplary job of technical processing of publication and communication with authors. Valuable feedback of reviewers was great lead and set mirror helped us to remove mistakes and to add what we didn’t notice. Great thanks heads to my colleagues, friends and knowns,  who as an authors with enthusiasm came to processing, sometimes even suggested topics. Thanks to everyone for helping me to create scientific plastic frame with interdisciplinary character and is part of uncovering yesterday and trying to understand today.
