The 5th annual MIER 2026 conference of the Institute of Economic Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences has just begun. Over the course of today and tomorrow, a full program of presentations awaits us at Smolenice Castle. We are pleased that this year we have also been honored by the presence of several international guests. Thanks to the project “Development of Scientific Cooperation with the Economic Diaspora,” we have been able to welcome as keynote speakers Zuzana Fungáčová from the Bank of Finland and Tomáš Jagelka from the University of Bonn.
