The Institute of Economic Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, in cooperation with partners from Mendel University in Brno, the University of Łódź, and the Kopint Foundation for Economic Research in Budapest, has published the Central Europe Migration Database (CEMD) – a database that harmonises data on foreign nationals from national registers in Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland into a single comparable structure. The dataset is freely available in the Zenodo repository under a CC BY 4.0 licence and is an output of the project From Crisis to Coordination? V4 Migration Strategies and Scenarios (V4-MigStrat), supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
