The Institute of Economic Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences participates on the implementation of the International Visegrad Fund project focused on migration policies and integration in the V4 countries together with research institutions from Slovakia, Czechia (MENDELU), Poland (University of Lodz), and Hungary (Kopint). The project aims to develop a harmonized V4 migration dataset and produce country reports assessing the economic, social, and demographic impacts of migration, including recommendations for more effective migration and integration policies. Through stakeholder webinars, expert consultations, and a final international workshop, the project will support evidence-based policymaking and strengthen regional cooperation on migration governance in Central Europe. The project is implemented with the support of the International Visegrad Fund.
The project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
