In June 2024, the 11th edition of the Slovak cycling campaign "Bike to work" took place. Our Institute has been part of it for 10 years. This year 2 teams from our Institute competed again: "Savkari 2" and the newly founded "Empirici na bajku". For the whole 10 years, "Savkari 2" was in the top 100 teams in Bratislava (This year 908 teams were registered in Bratislava). We were the first in the SAV.
Our result this year: four cyclists from the team "Savkari 2" rode 1 091 km in June and we were ranked 360th in the Slovak Republic and 84th in Bratislava.
The basis for the development of cycling is safe routes and the desire to move. As well as bringing us joy, cycling is also our small contribution to a low-carbon economy.
