The Institute of Economic Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences is pleased to invite the distinguished academic and research community to participate in the annual Meeting of the Institute of Economic Research (MIER 2026), to be held from April 22–24, 2026, at the historic Smolenice Castle.
The MIER aims to bring together researchers, academics, and policy practitioners to present their research, exchange ideas and methodologies, and discuss empirical insights and broader implications of their research.
We are delighted to announce two distinguished keynote speakers: Zuzana Fungáčová (Bank of Finland and current President of the Slovak Economic Association) and Tomáš Jagelka (University of Bonn and Dartmouth College).
