Representatives of the Institute of Economic Research of the SAS, Miroslav Štefánik and Zuzana Košťálová, presented their research at the conference COMPIE in Amsterdam in June. The COMPIE conference was organized by the European Commission's Competence Centre on Microeconomic Evaluation in collaboration with Vrije Universiteit and the Tinbergen Institute. The aim of this conference is to bring together practitioners and academics to discuss developments in the theory and the applications of counterfactual methods for policy impact evaluation.
