Zuzana Košťálová from the Institute of Economic Research SAS attended the causal inference workshop, CodeChella Madrid, which was held at CUNEF University from May 25–28, 2026. This year’s workshop focused on the difference-in-differences method, covering the fundamentals to advanced estimators with coding in R and Stata. The workshop also included a separate section on the use of artificial intelligence in research, specifically Claude Code in research projects and modeling. The course was led by Scott Cunningham (Baylor University), Dan Rees (UC3M), and Mark Anderson (Montana State University). The knowledge gained will be useful in the applied research at the Institute of Economic Research SAS.
