The project “CEI Support to Taxation Policy Knowledge Transfer: Strengthening Public Revenues through Evidence-Based R&D” has recently started within the framework of the Central European Initiative (CEI) Know-how Exchange Programme (KEP). The project is implemented by the Institute of Economic Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (IER SAS) in cooperation with the Institute of Economic Sciences (IEN) Belgrade. Its main objective is to strengthen Serbia’s capacities in evidence-based taxation policy design through the transfer of advanced econometric methodologies, fiscal modelling tools, and knowledge dissemination practices. The project will support regional cooperation, fiscal governance improvements, and alignment with EU standards in public finance policymaking.
